RESEARCH INTERESTS

Liquid crystal/polymer composite materials have broad applications in flexible display, intelligent doors and windows for building and automobiles, 5G communication antennas, etc. Our research involves many fields including liquid crystal display materials, liquid crystal based intelligent polymer composites, liquid crystal based polymer electrolyte, and liquid crystal polymer/2D composite materials. We focus on the development of intelligent light transmittance adjustable films with large area and flexibility, regulating the relationship between the molecular structure or the micro structure of the materials and their performance, and solving the key technical issues in large-scale processing.
